BATMAN - School Concert

El jueves 07 de octubre se llevó a cabo nuestro Annual School Concert. Este año por unanimidad total se decidió realizar una adaptación de Batman, uno de los comics más populares y protagonista de numerosas películas de las décadas pasadas.

Is there anybody who doesn’t know Batman?

I don’t know about you, but when I was a kid I really loved everything around this hero and was even making my own fights for justice. I made my dog play the role of Robin and I was Batgirl. Batman maybe was a friend, but if I was alone at home it didn’t matter because Batman was alive in my imagination fighting by my side.

The first Batman appeared in 1939, but the one I first met did it later on, in the 60’s. In 1966 Batman burst onto our black and white TV screens. I had journeys of fast action and fantastically costumed characters captured the attention of me kid everywhere: The Joker, The Penguin, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, etc.

As time passed by, there were many movies of this comic book superhero and famous actors played his role: Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney, Christian Bale. A third installment for Christian Bale is in pre-production and will be released in Summer 2012. But, to tell you the truth, from my point of view, only one will be the most outstanding Batman forever and ever: Adam West, the forerunner of the 60’s.
